The online workshop on the digitization of road construction processes, held on October 13, 2020, together with the Center Building and Infrastructure Engineering (CBI), was a complete success!
40 participants from the fields of construction industry and mechanical engineering discussed Microsoft teams in an interdisciplinary exchange about chances, challenges, possible solutions and, derived from this, potential fields of action.
Among others, the following companies took part: Argo-Hytos, AP Deutschland, BOMAG, Danfoss Power Solutions, DSA Daten- und Systemtechnik, Eurovia, HAMM, Heitkamp Erd- und Straßenbau, HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions, ISAC GmbH, Liebherr, PORR, STRABAG, Topcon Deutschland Positioning, TPA, Weichai Power(DE)Science & Technology Innovation Center, Zeppelin
After keynote speeches by Topcon Deutschland Positioning and Eurovia, the two centers and the institutes presented their possible input, and then discussed and developed the topic together on an interactive whiteboard.
