The reference construction site will serve as a real laboratory and will initially be temporarily located on the West Campus as a pilot project. Here, new construction processes, construction products, networked machines, the use of robots, software solutions as well as teaching, work and communication concepts will be tested under real construction site conditions. The Center for Mobile Machinery is also involved in the project and is pleased that, in addition to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.future-site.de\/\">FutureSite<\/a> on the grounds of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atc-aldenhoven.de\/de\/\">Aldenhoven Testing Center<\/a>, there will now be another reference construction site in Aachen where a wide variety of questions relating to mobile machinerycan be investigated.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, RWTH Aachen University officially handed over a 10,000 square meter area to the Center Construction Robotics (CCR) in the Construction Cluster for its reference construction site.
